Obligatory new user post, bullet point style

  • 30-40 age range, 6ft, 135lbs (yes actually 135lbs, <10% body fat)
  • Used to be 155lbs (still lean) but have been slowly losing muscle despite consistent exercise and 50+g protein/day
  • Super low energy this past year, decided to check my test
  • Got bloods -> 325 ng/dl test and all else healthy, BUT my insurance only covers below 300 (and has a fuckton of hoops to jump through to get coverage)
  • I put in two orders, one from a top domestic on eroids (pureanabolics) and here (musclecandy) that I'm planning on reviewing.
  • Looking to low dose TRT - no fat stack cycles or huge gains, I just want a healthy feel and weight again.
I love that this community exists for harm reduction - I hope to contribue with some reviews

I didn't see any TRT specific forums, which boards fit my vibe?

Most of the sources here are super specific about there 200-250mg/mL test E or test C vials. Meaning there dosages are pretty much perfect, for people just like you looking to run TRT dosages. I’d go through the sources, go through the forum and make an informed decision on who you want and start with dosing 50-75mg twice weekly. So 100-100mg per week every 3.5 days. Syringes are easy to get on Amazon. I’d go with a 29g half inch size needle and just go sub q for TRT purposes. It’s easy. Pretty much no scar tissue. Boom. Done. Get blood work. Maybe get an AI like anastrozole or arimidex in case estrogen gets high. Enjoy feeling better, being able to get strong boners again and making gains in the gym.

What was your actual total test? You put >325- that could be any number greater than 325.
Now, 325 is technically in range but for your age yeah, I consider it too low.
Do your research, look at the most recent reviews on a source and pull the trigger. If you are looking for TRT type dose, start at 100 mg per week and get your bloods tested after 4 to 5 weeks. If your total test is above 800, you should be gtg. If not, bump to 150.
Just make sure to get your bloods and see what your health markers and e2 levels are so you can identify any issues and dial in.

Should you decide to run more than TRT, I think 300 mg per week would be a good starter cycle for you.

Edit: If you hadn't put your total test is apparently low, I would have told you to put on more weight naturally before starting any testosterone. I know what it is like to feel shitty with low test though. Your description sounds like you are just a bit above a skeleton though. Hopefully you don't have any other issues going on.

100% not judging for going on TRT, if you feel ready, go for it! but is this a one-time blood test of 325? Any previous results?
50+g protein and 10% bf... Have you tried to optimize your lifestyle, nutrition, and sleep and then get a T level checked? I know everyone is different but the fact you are shedding muscle at 325 sounds like diet issues along with sub-optimal T? Diet issues can also cause sub-optimal T, especially at that BF% sooo...

Insurance sucks, there are always ways to drop your T and go back if this is a $$$ issue for you. Sadly, knowing clinics and their protocol you will get clomid, etc everything BUT T just to make sure they can't kick start you naturally. Just food for thought though.
