Primary physician

For those who have been in the game longer than I have, does your primary physician know about your PED use? And if so how did the topic come up? My current physician is through the VA at the VA hospital near me so I’m trying to avoid that and find a civilian physician. Thanks guys, looking forward to the feedback.

My urologist is basically my PCP. He knows about my steroid use, well, most of it.

I had been seeing him for my HRT for awhile, so I formed a pretty good relationship with him. We both enjoy talking about HRT stuff. He’s a cool guy and is smart as hell, so I felt comfortable opening up to him about my use. He basically already knew anyway, we just hadn’t specifically talked about it.

I brought it up at an appointment one day, and he was actually quite interested (and surprisingly well versed) in the subject. He’s been extremely helpful in monitoring my health, and not judgmental. I mean, he’s still a doctor so he obviously likes to chat about the potential risks, but he’s very cool about it. And he also trusts that I’m not some idiot juice head who is using steroids in an extremely irresponsible manner.

He’s been helpful ordering plenty of bloodwork for me, as well as prescribing me a few things that I would typically have to purchase from a UGL.

That’s awesome man, yeah I’d definitely like to work a relationship with someone like that has a MD. Someone who can most likely answer any question, not google or some dude on the internet lol
