Just curious if someone knows where SHBG values typically should be.
Ive noticed that my SHBG values dropped since the last 2 years and have stayed there. I know you dont want it too high for obvious reasons(hogging bio available test) but my lab readings are hovering around 18 for awhile now and it used to be in the mid to upper 20s consistently. Im not sure how low is too low. And im sure it varies per individual.
Only culprits I can think of are just my age 51. Or taking aromasin in the past. Or my liver.
Similar to this my prolactin hovers around 7 now and used to always be 15 on the dot. Did try cabaser once and regret it to be honest. I know people think low prolactin is good but I think it depends on the person. I dont subscribe to lowering your prolactin on purpose. ie taking a dopaminagenic agent.
And if they are too low is there any way to bring them back or is this permanent?
Anyway those are two things in my labs im confused about.
