Quick alternative to Coinbase?

Looked into Kraken but it wants even more documents and pictures of me than CB did. Wanting something that will just let me use MY MONEY to buy WHAT I WANT. Fucking sick of gay ass red tape bullshit preventing me from making my own damn purchases with my own damn money. Any sites that don’t have stupid long verification processes? I just want to get my next blast set up but fuckin CB randomly dropped my limits to $0 for no reason.

Had this same issue happen to me with coinbase back in June, just randomly dropped my limit to zero… you can email them and they’ll fix it but it might take a while. Ended up taking like a month for them to get back to me and set my limit back to normal/what it was before.

Someone suggested coinmama so that’s where I went. Was able to set up an account, get verified and get a transaction made within a day using them. Don’t remember the exact steps involved but it was fairly simple and quick to get it done. The only difference between the two are I believe coinbase fees are 4% and I think coinmama’s fees are 5% so very little difference… That’s what I’d suggest.

Coinmama is an option.

It all depends on what you’re gonna use for your transactions. Debit Card? Then it depends on your bank, you might have to call them and okay it because Coinmama transactions go through Slovakia which is a red flag for most banks.

I had an account with Coinmama, but it was a hassle to get my bank to okay it even though they are a really free bank when it comes to crypto. I got in the habit of always keeping coin in my cb account, although recently I emptied it out because the price for btc is crashing over the next few months, so you’re better off not keeping coin on hand for more than a few days.

Some use the cashapp, I never liked it.

I’m with you on the whole setting up an account and giving out information. The entire purpose of this is to stay anonymous and the truth is you aren’t doing that if you have to identify yourself. The truth is btc leaves a giant footprint, the only real purpose for it is to protect our sources, the customer however is leaving their a** hanging out.

Cash app is my go-to and I was verified in less than 24 hours.

Oh yeah Dexter reminded me of a detail I left out, I use a Walmart prepaid money/debit card for purchasing bitcoin. I don’t use a debit card linked through a bank account so I’m not sure if that would change the verification process if you go through your bank account with coinmama.

Localbtc if your in need of a quick solution. You can usually end up with only a 5%-10% fee if you do moneygram/western union. Otherwise Cash App is the easiest and most convenient.

Verified through Cashapp and still can’t buy BTC on it. So wonderful to live in a world where we’re not allowed free reign to spend money we worked for.

You can bet BTC is closely watched by the powers that be, taxes is how this country keeps the police state going, after all 55-60% of every dollar in taxes you pay locally support LE, Prisons, and Jails. It’s a beautiful system, too bad the public has been completely duped into the idea that this somehow equals freedom.

While it’s highly dependent on where you live - you can find ads on Craigslist of people buying and selling btc for cash in face to face transactions. Usually a $1000 minimum. This is the only way I’ve ever bought btc. Anything else, may as well just use a credit card.

When searching CL, don’t limit yourself to btc. Ether is readily available as people can use regular gpus and not asics to mine it.

Find a Bitcoin ATM in your area. That’s all I use it’s quick and simple.
Almost all of them in the USA require you scan your license. Also, fees are stupidly high.

Coinbase lets me use my BTC immediately when purchasing with my debit card, probably need to buy and sell on there for a while tho.
