Reconstituting Melanotan 2, does 1) saline or 2) purified water, make a difference? Are either totally fine?

Just wondering whether saline could effect the nature of the peptide, or alter it in any way?

The peptide "melanotan 2".

If one were to mix or reconstitute it with either

1) saline, or

2) purified water

Could that make any difference to the potency or nature of the peptide, or the effect it could have?

Most people use bac water, but for the purposes of this question the BA doesn't really matter.

I'm just curious whether Saline could affect mt2, where presumably regular purified water would not.

Any thoughts/experiences??

People swear by BAC water due to the .9% benzyl alcohol. This is probably the best option. I have used .9% saline, no problems, worked fine, no infection.

Practice safe protocols whatever you choose to use... Use new needles, scrub the top with an alcohol pad let it dry, keep it in the fridge, and scrub the injection site with an alcohol pad. Use it within a reasonable amount of time, no issues.

BAC water is meant to be good for ~28 days Saline also is recommended to be refrigerated and disposed of with in about a month. I have used peptides with saline 2 months + no issues, but I would be very careful cellulitis can be very serious and require IV antibiotics, not something to play around with!

All true, but I normally use nasal spray, not injection.
Less of an infection concern.
I normally add in 0.9% benzyl alcohol aswell.

It sounds like saline vs purified water typically isn't going to make a large difference in the case of effecting the nature or integrity of a peptide like melanotan 2?

Haha oh damn, I see I just went on a rampage and didn't answer your question at all... I do not think either would make a large difference to the integrity. You are however going to see less results from nasal spray than injection. I do not think I would use alcohol in nasal spray... seems like a recipe for opportunistic bacteria or fungi...
