RU58841 or Finasteride

Used fin in the past; using RU now. Fin worked great for me for about 3 months, and then suddenly SMACK no libido. I’m talking nothing - I could not for the life of me get it up, even with a hot naked girl in my bed beside me. Dropped fin immediately, and luckily in 2 weeks I could experience erections again. RU has worked even better than fin with no libido issues. Highly recommend everyone to stay away from fin - chances may be low, but when you lose having a functioning penis, suddenly your hair doesn’t seem so important.

Lol, let’s recommend the drug that completely blocks dht in the heart which can lead to failure. Fin libido loss comes in waves, usually a little high prolactin. Although, even with fin, I am extremely sensitive to anything that causes hair loss. But with just Test e, I have decent results

Where did you hear this about RU? I haven’t heard that before

I’ve been using 1mg/day finasteride for around 6 months now. Was losing my hair too fast before that. The first few weeks of finasteride really scared me because there was a noticeable drop in erection strength and frequency. I’ve read the horror stories. But it just sort of got better. I now have a hunch that my body needs a certain level of DHT to have erections, and I think I’ve dialed it my doses pretty well. If I’m cruising and start to notice a drop in libido I’ll only take .5mg/day. My hair has stopped shedding. Unfortunately it is not regrowing, and I regret being reckless with certain drugs (like tren lol) that I believe caused me to shed beyond repair. I suspect if I cruised on test and took dutasteride for 6-12 months, I could regrow my hair. However I think that would erase my sex drive, so I don’t plan on doing that.

If you can accept the risks, I would cautiously recommend finasteride. It’s not only preventing me from going bald but has also completely stopped me from having to go pee at night. I also get less random boners throughout the day, which I consider a plus because those can interfere with work.

Not to pile on, but “genetics for being lean” is hogwash as the other guys have said.

I was chronically fat until my early 30’s, I certainly don’t have the “genetics” for being lean and have gotten to single digit bodyfat multiple times.

It’s a matter of sticking to a calorie deficit and patience. Granted, going from 12% to 8% bodyfat requires more precision than going from 20% to 15%, especially if you’re interested in maintaining strength and muscle tissue, but the same principles apply.

I’ve never even looked at brown rice or whole grain anything, for whatever that’s worth.

The good news is gear makes it a bit easier.
Just want to add that RU CAN cause heart sides
This is rare and individual specific, but it can happen. It’s all about androgen receptors in the heart.
I know I may be bumping an OLD thread, but this is purely for safety reasons
Been using it for 3 weeks, and I can feel very slight “flutters”. Symptoms all similar to myocardial infarction.
ECG, EKG, X ray showed no blockages and a perfectly healthy heart. I will be getting an ECHO in a few days and I will edit this post. However, Elevated ST was shown, albeit very, very slightly. Not good.
Only using TRT and Sarms.
To test this, I injected a big dose of Test E earlier (150mg compared to 50mg). Slowly, the symptoms went away, (not all the way completely since the RU is still in my body). Thank god there was probably no permanent damage as of today.

You don’t want heart failure for a few hairs. Use finasteride and get a transplant in turkey.

EDIT: final verdict is that, this is a safe compound on cycle. Be careful about being natural or on just TRT. You will, paradoxically need more androgens in my opinion to offset any discomfort from ru.

Like @“Zyzzguido55” said above me, I know this is an old article but figured I’d add my piece.

RU should be totally safe as long as it doesn’t go systemic.
Don’t apply a bucket-load on your head, and make sure you don’t have any open wounds that it might get into.
The aim is for transdermal absorption only so it binds to the receptors at the follicles and little to none enters and circulates into your bloodstream.

If you ordered raw powder to mix up your own, I’d suggest whipping up a small volume batch for a test run, enough for at least a week, 15ml. The standard and typically well tolerated dose is 50mg/ml.
If you want to be extra cautious, you can whip up a 25mg/ml dose to start. If you start at 50mg/ml and have some adverse reactions you can add diluent to lower the dosage per ml and go from there.

Just like minox you want to apply this twice daily for best results.

I recommend RU over fin because it’s site specific and doesn’t completely shit on your DHT levels.

That’s my 2 cents, but don’t just take my word for it and do your own research!
