I just wanted to run my idea by the forum to make sure I have everything correct. I plan on going to see some family a few states over and taking a plan there and back. I should be good to mail it to myself right? I will have my family hold the package and not open it.

Just put a vial of Test with your pins in an insulin travel case and put it on top of your checked luggage…

@gbunk yes, a lot of people do. Just think about it logically — how do you think normal people travel with TRT? Just don’t hide it, treat it like the medication that it is. What’s the worst that could happen? TSA is there for safety, they’re looking for guns, bombs, dangerous shit. They don’t care about a little vial of medication. If something actually happens, like they wonder where your prescription is or some shit, just say you forgot it. They can’t legally call your doctor to verify anything. Just keep it to one vial and you will be fine.
International is another story… I don’t know about that and it most probably depends on the country.

You shipping it through usps is just as dangerous as taking a domestic flight. I just flew to Vegas with a bottle of test, and mast! No one issue

Unless you’re staying there a long time I’d just let it ride. Having your test low-normal for a few days isn’t the end of the world. Orals I’ve just put in those daily pill-planners like any other vitamin and put it in checked luggage. Works fine.

@6295184 a lot of people do will send themselves things. It’s not like sellers don’t ship multiple times every day.

@gbunk Personally I wouldn’t worry about it. If I were worried about it, I’d just take a bit larger dose before I left. You’d probably be fine carrying it on, they’re worried about safety issues not test, but it’s not the odds it’s the consequences

@effswithtren maybe I’ll do that to save from the hassle. Don’t people mail themselves stuff on vacay or am I crazy? I’m pretty sure that’s where I had that idea from.

@gbunk it’s a thing. I don’t think it’s worth the hassle for this though. To me that’s for people that are gone for awhile, or for people traveling to compete as a part of their contest prep. But yeah people do it if you’re so inclined.

@gbunk I was pretty sketched out about bringing stuff with me on my last flight. I put 2 Insulin pens, 3 vials of HGH, Insulin pins and 3 pre-loaded syringes with test and EQ in an insulin carrying case. I had the case in my carry on and went through security. I just told the agents it was my insulin and that was it. They just put it through the scanner and went on my way.
Because of HIPPA they can’t ask for your prescription, what medication it is, or what it is for. They are also not law enforcement. For them to arrest you for possession, they would have to coordinate their efforts with local law enforcement. Keep in mind they are Government employees and really don’t care about anything except getting thousands of people to their terminals on time.
Like I said, I was sketched before this flight but moving forward I won’t even sweat it.

Check in bags I’ve never had a problem with, never tried with a carry on and doubt I will.
