I have been experiencing some pretty bad site pain about a day after injections with my 250mg injections, almost to the point where it feels the muscle is torn. I only do injections in my thighs and alternate every time

Would y'all recommend a different location or possibly more injections per week? I do mon and fri at the moment

Is this your very first time using test and what is the carrier oil, gso or mct?

When you say thighs I’m assuming you mean quads. Personally I’d advise against it. Injecting there, especially deep, can get super painful and it seems like there’s always a higher risk of hitting a vein. I used to get terrible inflammation from injecting there and it would make leg days hell. Also the swelling after a leg day would make it almost impossible to sleep thus impacting recovery.

Pick a few sites, a few different needle gauges and rotate. Give the sites enough time to heal and mitigate scar tissue. Lats are great, as are delts, pecs, VG, glutes, and traps.

when i was traveling for work i had some insulin needles? i think im not sure, but they were really nice to use other than injecting test was extremely slow.

Slin pins are great. That’s about the only thing I still use on quads.

You might want to consider getting a candle warmer to heat your vials on. Makes pinning with smaller gauges easier and seems to help dissipate into the muscle - they’re very cheap, like $10 or so on Amazon.

250 isn't really a TRT dose. That notwithstanding, there are a lot of things you can try.

First, you should make sure you're injecting into the outer thigh... the vastus lateralus if you want to pull out an anatomical diagram to make sure. Basically, when you're sitting down, point your finger directly vertically downward midway between your knee and your hip. Then, rotate about 45 degrees outward. There are some nerves in other parts of the thigh that you can really aggravate, not only with mechanical disruption but also chemical. There's a very good paper on IM injection site selection, with a focus on the thigh, if you're into technical reading. The shoulder is also good and very easy, too, and you could mix it up between four injection sites if you want to.

Go to a smaller diameter needle. I'm not sure what you're using now, but I use 30g with GSO and it doesn't take long. Load with a wider needle if you are impatient like me.

Switch to cypionate if you're running enanthate. Lots of complaints about E lately. I suspect you already run C since you're running 250, but who knows.

Switch to GSO next time. It's less inflammatory.

Try massaging for a while after injecting, maybe put a warm towel on it or shower immediately after. Do some air squats after injecting or inject right before cardio to help disperse the oil.

Try some Tylenol, aspirin, ibuprofen, etc.

appreciate the lengthy reply. i didnt know about the rotating 45 degrees outward thing as when i first started my trt my nurse showed me how to do it a few times.
it is Test C and currently this is not a trt dose, i am on 500mg a week.
