Sunday night injection. Right cheek upper outer quadrant. 25g 1 1/2 same flipping spot as usual I thought. 2ml total.
Tail bone is kinda numb and tender. No redness or heat or anything. No other symptoms.

Did you hit a nerve or a tendon maybe?

I'd suggest using 1 inch 25g unless you're fat, might have hit something? Carrier oil inflammation? PIP? Hard to say, if it persists go get it checked out.

I just ordered some 1in. Been using the 1 1/2 for a while with no problem.

Not worth it imo to pin glutes yourself. A good chance you'll hit your sciatic nerve and not be able to walk for a week or more.

If you hit a nerve you would feel an immediate sharp shocking kinda pain and know not to keep going. It's likely you're just having a weird reaction to the specific spot you pinned since when you consider how small the needles are it is possible to stab thousands of different spots on your ass cheek and we never nail the EXACT same one each time. Not all of our meat is created equal, some spots are fine and a millimeter away you can stab a shitty spot. Just try to mentally note the general area and avoid it by 1-2cm for a bit if you have the surface area for that. Probably use the other cheek for a few shots too. If you are genuinely worried just go to a doctor and tell them you do your own HRT and are worried you fucked something up, no other details needed other than "I do my own HRT". They do not need to see scripts or anything for this, you will not get in trouble.

Whenever someone says they pin glutes I immediately think ventroglute, also if you pay attention OP said outer quadrant meaning ventroglute.

Yea could be a possibility ventroglutes is more a shallow muscle compared to the glute itself, I always pin 1inch 25g and no issues ever.
