Your assumption of politics having an influence in my pricing for these two compounds as well as others is incorrect. It is as simple as supply vs demand. The supply is almost nonexistent despite the fact the demand is very high. Now, being this a business and not a charity, I of course need to adjust pricing compared to what I'm paying for the material and what is currently available on the market. This is an unfortunate situation that I hope to be resolved in the coming months. Increasing pricing was not something I wanted to do.
