Steroid induced acne acutane dosing

I got some pretty bad acne on my arms and shoulders this run with tren. Started acutane at 20mg a day based on some studies showing low doses being effective. , only thing is I’m getting way more dryness sides than I did last time I ran it a year or so ago. Wondering if since the acne is steroid induced that running it 20mg EOD would still be beneficial vs ED. I was up to 80mg last run and it worked until I started tren again.

I got bad acne on my chest from crashing my estro on 750mg test. I started at 20mg a day to build it up than started doing 20mg eod. My acne cleared up with in a month. Accutane is amazing.

I think I’m gonna switch to EOD in a couple weeks. I just can’t find any studies supporting it EOD. I do see several studies showing 20mg ED works with way less sides than the traditional dosage. I feel like because our acne is from a different source than those prescribed accutane that EOD should work.

20-40mg/day is standard dosing. Normally, you won’t see results until after 1 month, then it will clear up a ton.

80mg/day is a lot. You will see results a lot quicker, and it will be more effective for tough cystic acne, but you will get bad sides.
