Have to get a suit for an event. I know custom is the way to go but im so lazy i dont want to go pick out a fabric and multipul fittings, ect.

Has anyone tried Bonobos athletic suits or State and Liberty?

I should just walk in to one of those stores but id rather order online and then take to my tailor :D

if you ever make your way to thailand, you can get multiple suits made top notch for dirt cheap.

I know this does not answer your question at all I just figured I would throw it out there.

I used to bo to burlington coat factory just north of boston, pick a mfg, and try on different parts till i found an ok configuration.

I will never understand the numbers that go along with sizing with clothes.

Only problem with ordering online is that even though the suit size are somewhat standardized, it helps to try the brand on that you are buying. The money is going to be getting the tailor to work all parts of the suit for you. Thighs in or out. Waist and length of jacket…… not just cuffs and hems……. Also strongly suggest having the shirt also tailored so when you take off the badass suit, the cut and fit of shirt is also on point. I have some pretty good luck with men’s wear house and especially if you one of their better in house tailors. They have a decent selection and different cuts of jackets. Not sure of your height, but I would imagine “S” is going to be a better look than the R……….
