Anyone ever experienced this before?
So I usually do 2x 2.5mg IM injections in both delts once a week to help with lingering shoulder issues from my competitive lifting days and never had an issue. Did my normal shots last night and holy shit things went sideways quick. My skin started getting itchy and blotchy all over, sweating profusely, pressure started building in my head and my eyes turned blood red, my hands and feet started tingling and I started feeling nauseous. I’ve experienced some of these side effects at this dose before but then my bottom lip started swelling up and my throat got tight and that’s when I realized what was happening…I was experiencing an anaphylactic response. I popped 250mg of Benadryl and grabbed one of the epipens we have and injected. Jumped in the shower to cool off and waited. Most of the sides immediately subsided but my throat is still swollen today and my bottom lip is kinda looking like a botched Botox injection. I’ve been using TB for close to 5 years now and this vial was from the same source I’ve been using for TB for the last 6 months. I’ve heard of people developing a sudden allergic response to peptides like this but man, I genuinely believe if I didn’t have the Epipen, I might not be here today.
Also as an aside, CVS sells Adrenaclick over the counter and it’s the same epinephrine that’s in an Epipen for $100~.
