I think its normal for the water based to fall out of suspension as it doesn’t really dissolve in the water, all the water based I have used I had to shake up before drawing.
with that said the oil based I have used has not crashed at all but it was in guaiacol oil so it really smells so much you need to keep the vial in some type of air tight container, I keep mine in an old piil container inside a plastic bag and then sealed inside an old sauce jar and that seems to keep the smell in.
Plus part of the oil is not much pip, at least for me.
