Just got bloodwork for the very first time testing for testosterone levels. I really slacked ever getting mid cycle bloods as I’ve ran multiple blasts of 500mg test and just cruised in between.
Anyways,a few years ago I got routine bw and everything was good. On my recent bloodwork running 300mg test, I got slightly low hdl at 35 and total cholesterol at 97. Both are slightly out of range, not much. Ldl was normal.
I tried searching for testosterone impact on total cholesterol and it seems it’s supposed to raise it, not lower it. Anyone know for sure? I assume I need to start eating more cholesterol rich foods to help?
Update.
Nevermind, looked and I only have ldl cholesterol calc and vldl calc. Looks like those two plus hdh equals total cholesterol
Hence, why I’m low. I’m dropping test to trt dose to normalize hdl.
