I was at the gym on Monday hitting chest with a couple lifting buddies, and we noticed a guy working out by himself. The man had a wildly great physique, almost certainly a competitive bodybuilder or otherwise a big fan of bodybuilding. Who knows.
Being a big fan of bodybuilding myself, I wanted to tell him he looks fucking sick. I wait until he’s in between exercises to pay him a compliment. When I walk up to him, before uttering a single word he looks up angrily and says “THE ANSWER IS NO. I’m not answering questions, I’m not looking to make any new friends, the answer is no.”
I realize at this point the man is balls deep in tren paranoia (there’s something about the eyes on tren), so rather than engage in a classic meathead shouting match I simply laughed and walked away. Upon further observation, I realized anytime he perceived someone to be looking at him, he would silently rage and assume the person looking his direction was bashing him in some way.
I’ve been considering another tren run, but I think this was a sign from the good lord above to abstain. I don’t see the point at my age as a non-competitor to go back to the next tier in my physique at the cost of being a mentally unhinged basket case lmao. I’m regaining lost mass from a nasty back injury, but I’m getting there.
I know tren makes us feel like god himself, but to me it came across as pure delusional arrogance
I have a family and I couldn’t imagine maintaining any type of relationship with that mentality. I still can’t figure out what questions he assumed I had for him, let alone why he’d assume I wanted to be “friends”.
Today he was wearing a shirt that said “my mind is my weapon and everything else is an accessory”. It was like a billboard that said “I’m not worried thinking everyone here is talking poorly about me, I promise my mental fortitude is on another level”
Please tell me IFBB pros aren’t like this too
