Another rant about our dear leader and his idea to get tough on those daring to exercise liberty and freedom. Put simply if you elect this tyrant for another 4 years, personal freedoms will take a huge hit unlike anything we’ve seen since Nixon and Bush’s patriot police state act.

Months ago Trump was shooting his mouth off about crypto being used for illegal transactions and drugs. He blames all of our problems on drugs(never the artery clogging cheeseburgers and gonnerhea/syphillus he caught from barebacking pornstars).

This guys loves two things, cops and soldiers, and religious f-heads, and those that mindlessly worship the yankee swatiska(excuss me the american flag).

What do we have coming down the pike in 2021.

AED for USPS in close to full compliance.
Crypto Crackdown.
More speeches telling us how great police are and ignoring the 1000 people they kill every year.

I lived through the Reagan years, Reagan was nothing compared this guy.

Blow To Bitcoin As ‘Significant’ U.S. Crypto Crackdown Suddenly Revealed
by Billy Bambrough

The U.S. bitcoin and cryptocurrency community has had a rough week—and its future is looking bleak.

This week, Treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin(trumps evil jewish ganster bankster) warned “significant” new bitcoin and cryptocurrency regulations are on their way, Minneapolis Federal Reserve president Neel Kashkari branded cryptocurrencies “a giant garbage dumpster,” and the Department of Justice called bitcoin mixing “a crime.”

However, the news has failed to much move the bitcoin price, which remains up almost 50% since the beginning of the year.

Mnuchin, who last year echoed U.S. president Donald Trump’s criticism of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, told the Senate Finance Committee the U.S. Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) is preparing “significant new requirements” around cryptocurrencies and we’ll “be seeing a lot of work coming out very quickly.”

“We want to make sure that technology moves forward but, on the other hand, we want to make sure that cryptocurrencies aren’t used for the equivalent of old Swiss secret number bank accounts,” Mnuchin said, adding FinCEN and the Treasury Department more broadly are “spending a lot of time on this.”

Last year, Mnuchin warned that bitcoin will not be widely used in ten years time and that it could be considered a U.S. national security risk.

Meanwhile, adding to the assault on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies coming out of the U.S. this week, Minneapolis Fed president Neel Kashkari said cryptocurrencies lack the basic characteristics of any stable currency.

“The reason that the dollar has value is because the U.S. government has a legal monopoly on producing the dollar,” said Kashkari, speaking at a Montana event after being asked whether he would want his 1-year-old daughter to be gifted a Treasury bond or a bitcoin for her next birthday.

“In the virtual-currency and cryptocurrency world, there are thousands of these garbage coins out there. Literally, people have been fleeced for tens of billions of dollars, and finally the SEC is getting involved in cracking down on this.”

Elsewhere, Department of Justice prosecutors this week branded bitcoin mixing software, designed to mask the origin of bitcoin transactions, “money laundering.”

In the indictment of Larry Harmon(busted on the dark web selling drugs and guns), who was this week arrested for his alleged involvement in a money-laundering conspiracy worth more than $300 million, the Department of Justice referred to Harmon’s Helix software as a “money transmitting and money laundering business.”

The bitcoin and cryptocurrency regulatory landscape in the U.S. has long been found stifling by the nascent crypto industry—with some choosing to more favourable regions such as Switzerland.

“Everyone in the know is already well aware of Europe’s clear guidance on crypto custody, exchange licensing, rules for issuance of payment, utility and security tokens,” said blockchain pioneer and managing director of Yeoman’s Capital David Johnston, adding, “European rules are very clear at this point.”

Social media giant Facebook, which last year revealed it will launch its own cryptocurrency, libra, in 2020, opted to base its independent governing Libra Association in Switzerland.

Not a leftest if that’s where you think I’m coming from. I’m a no government, Ron Paul sort of guy.

I don’t know how old you are, whether you grew up in the 70’s and have seen what has happened to this country over the past two decades, it’s a shit show.

Since 9/11 it’s not even the same country, and on that note you’re 8 times more likely to get killed by a cop than a terrorist today.

There will always be ways to get around every block the government puts up. The war on drugs is a massive success in every respect, more drugs today than ever before, but that’s not the reason for the war, the more laws put in place, the more power institutions have to enforce and the more money they can drain from the tax payers in a never ending vicious cycle where the lobbyist from LE/Prison industry grow more and more powerful. Every 2.5 seconds someone is busted for victimless drug crime in this country, 70% of the prison population.

Sort of wish you younger guys would rise up, it doesn’t bode well for your future if these people gain power. No one should be given power to rule others, the people in this country need to stop worshiping at the alter of government and law before they complete the shut down of the few remaining freedoms you have…which isn’t much.

As for Trump, his lastest state of the union address was one platitude prop after another for cops and soldiers, it’s getting old and I’m sure most of the soldiers don’t appreciate being dumped in one middle eastern shithole after another to accomplish jack squat. Now the cops however, they love this f-head, Trump cheers them on in their endless pursuit of seizing money, property and wrecking lives.

I think the below statements from Trump and his banker buddy running our Treasury.

‘Unlawful behavior’
In his tweets Thursday, Trump took aim at the potential for using cryptocurrencies in illegal activities, citing drug trafficking in particular.

“Unregulated Crypto Assets can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity,” he said.

In a final tweet, he added:

“We have only one real currency in the USA, and it is stronger than ever, both dependable and reliable. It is by far the most dominant currency anywhere in the World, and it will always stay that way. It is called the United States Dollar!”

While Trump himself had yet to weigh in on cryptocurrencies prior to Thursday, his Treasury Secretary has been a strong proponent of greater cryptocurrency regulations.

Steven Mnuchin(trumps treasure secretary overlord) has been calling for greater crypto regulation since the beginning of 2018, calling on the G20 to take up the issue during an (at the time) upcoming meeting in March.

This year, the Financial Action Task Force published guidance for central banks, calling for stringent know-your-customer information collection practices. The U.S. Treasury Department held the FATF presidency until the end of June.

“We will not allow cryptocurrency to become the equivalent of secret numbered accounts [and] we will allow for proper use, but we will not tolerate the continued use for illicit activities,” Mnuchin said in remarks prior to the rules’ publication.

Speaking during a hearing before the Senate Finance Committee, Mnuchin said FinCEN, the nation’s financial crimes watchdog, is preparing to roll out some “significant new requirements” around cryptocurrencies, though he did not provide any further detail.

Mnuchin’s explanation came in response to Senator Maggie Hassan (D-N.H.), who asked, “How will the Treasury’s proposed budget increase in monitoring suspicious cryptocurrency transactions and prosecuting terrorists and other criminal organizations financing illicit activities with cryptocurrency?”

FinCEN and the Treasury Department more broadly are “spending a lot of time on this,” Mnuchin said, and was working with some of the U.S.'s regulators on the issue. He did not name the specific regulators but the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Asset Control have all been active in the crypto space.

“We want to make sure that technology moves forward but, on the other hand, we want to make sure that cryptocurrencies aren’t used for the equivalent of old Swiss secret number bank accounts,” he said.

However, Treasury does share the senator’s concerns about illicit use, and “you’ll be seeing a lot of work coming out very quickly,” Mnuchin said.

For a little background on Steve…Goldmansacs banker , hedge fund manager economic hitman that oversaw 36,000 foreclosures and put $200,000,000 in his personal pocket ruining lives. And this idiot is worried about illicit activity from a few grams of nothing.

Yeah, we’ll always win when it comes to getting what we want. It’s just tiresome the meddling this government seems to have all the time in the world to do.

I think it’s about time we fire about 95% of the people that work for the government and tell them to do something actually productive.
