Why would you bother cycling for only 2 weeks? Sounds dumb
Exactly. I guess Bill Roberts was advocating them years back. Supposedly the benefits were the body not shutting down yet and being able to more safely add 5-10lbs of keepable lean mass over the course of a year with 4/5 two weekers. It still seems silly to me, especially if we’re talking actual cycles/pct… but if there’s any benefit at all, maybe its in the trt crowd, blasting additional short esters for two weeks. who knows.
Test shut down is not dependent on only the duration of a cycle, so the idea that cycling for a shorter amount of time would prevent it seems silly to me, as well.
In my opinion, this is like an oral only cycle. Sure, you
can do it, and yes, there is a chance you won’t completely shut down your natural test when you do. But why?
“if there’s any benefit at all, maybe its in the trt crowd, blasting additional short esters for two weeks”
Would there really be any benefit to that, though? I mean, your natural test
is shut down on TRT already, so why give yourself only a mini-blast? I feel like you’d just be giving yourself needlessly unstable hormone levels and potential for mood swings.
I could be missing something there, though! But I think you’re on the money with saying it sounds silly. I can’t personally think of any significant benefit to doing these mini cycles… at least, I can’t think of why you should do a mini cycle opposed to a full cycle.
