Hey guys got a package coming from Canada was able to view it on both .ca tracking and usps then it hit customs. Was viewing just fine on usps till tonight where it says label not yet created. Seized I’m guessing?

Customs has been weird to me too recently. Mine went through customs in a day or so, then stated it went to the distribution facility, then went back inbound into customs.

Wonder if it’s due to the government shutdown. Anyway not sweating it till it’s been there a week.

Can’t really comment on the customs issue. But USPS was not affected by the shutdown.

Just found out that customs is only running 20% if it’s employees right now. Their is a whole article on how it affected the customs and border control. So if a package is delayed its cause their is probably not a few guys actually at work.

Speaking for myself my international packs are taking double their usual transit times and tracking is showing them stuck in originating country for weeks before showing up as accepted in the US. My packs have nonetheless arrived. Just a heads up that many people are commenting about this issue and it is not the fault of the vendors so before you start mailbombing them with complaints you might want to sit back and give the packs extra time to arrive,

So I’ve had 2 packs make it through customs and are now seemingly in limbo. One even made it to my local office but never delivered. The other has updated as in transit 5 days in a row now…

On the plus side when they are this back logged they can’t search packages for shit. On the downside probably more than a few go missing.

This is correct, however USPS is entirely separate from the US CBP. CBP currently is greatly affected by the shutdown, and it is more than likely all of the recent customs issues/lack of or wrong updates In tracking, are happening.

Unless by chance you have ordered from us, we have seen this occur as well

I do also have an order with you as well, haha. But no thankfully yours hasn’t had any issues during the shipping process at all!

If your packages are stuck at “origin post is preparing departure “, it has not left the origin country yet, this is usually a result of the processing facility being backed up and very busy.

Ourselves, as well as the other SST international sources do our best to make sure customers are aware of how international shipping/ordering works, as well as the potential risk for a seizure. It’s unlikely we will see users fault a source publicly for what would be the obvious fault of the shipping carrier/customs.

We will always reship per our FAQ!

Which courier was your order shipped by?

I’m assuming it will show up eventually. I’m hesitant to jump the gun and ask for a reship. You’ve taken care of me very well so far. It was DHL that I requested.

Longest for me was 25 days lmao. Passed unopened. As everyone else mentioned, the current state of our autistic government is likely the cause. That being said, if you search “GOV shutdown effects on CBP and import “ or however you wanna phrase it, your gonna constantly see “no effect, blah blah is in place to prevent delays”. CBP website, as well as a few other GOV websites, hVe not been updated since December 22nd… It’s clearly affecting customs greatly as well as other GOV agencies, but as fuckin usual they tell us “nope, no effects on anything!”…

Lmfao! I’m so late to see this, but goddamn! Another cringe post from you lol. We can just file this one away in “years of retarded shit newbie or has said” folder.

This makes sense as to why my latest international package still hasn’t updated! Before the gov shut down, it took like 4-7 days to hit US (and show on tracking).

But yeah like someone said, maybe this will mean more packages will slip through without being searched!
