I tried modafinil, I hate that shit. makes me feel absolutely terrible and anxious with no ‘high’ or focus or hunger killing effects. Just my experience.

Depends where you live, but you can get stimulants that are classified as “designer drugs”, which are either still in testing or no law has been passed to make them a scheduled drug. They are exactly like Adderall, Dex, etc…

It’s just like peptides, they’re newer and you can only buy them for “research purposes”, there’s sites that sell them just like peptides.

Honestly, why not just source addy legit? It’s not like AAS that you’d have to trick a blood test to get a script for. You literally go into a psych doc and tell them a past hx of it and some reason why you need it now. It’s a med that is played pretty loose and fast with tbh.

You really might not even need to see a psych. Start with your general practitioner.

Hey guys, just wanted to remind you that rec talk and especially rec sourcing is forbidden on the board.

I am gonna leave this up because of the potential usage as a PED (cutting weight) but please make sure not to cross the line or i’ll have to shut it down

Any tips to finding a willing doctor/psychologist to diagnose this late (mid-thirties)? I’ve met with my current GP a few times, so it wouldn’t work to suddenly say I have a history of ADD. And don’t records (showing no previous mention of ADD) get shared widely? Or do people try out different GPs around the area and ask for ADD diagnosis on first meet?

Thanks to HIPAA, they can’t share your medical records between hospitals/doctors without your permission, except in the case of medical emergency.

If you want to get adderall from your GP, I would mention some symptoms and try to feel out the room. If he seems willing to prescribe it, then push for adderall. If he seems skeptical, I wouldn’t push it unless you are ok with getting a new GP.

In general, I would recommend going to a new GP and describing symptoms and say you want an adderall prescription. That way, you don’t have a history with them, and if they say no to the prescription you can just change doctors without having to deal with it in the future. Not sure if this is possible on your insurance though.

Read my post on the first page. Explaining away a few visits without discussing the diagnoses is easy to get around.

I went to my doctor as a 21 year old college student with a 4.0 with no history of acting out or history of adhd. There are many cases of people with high functioning adhd that dont get diagnosed until later in life. In my research I found many examples of lawyers and ER docs who were diagnosed later in life. I suggest you research high functioning adhd and adhd in adults. I had no problems getting a prescription.

anybody know a source where I can purchase some. It is really helpful for me during my intermittent fast. Thanks!
Do you have medical insurance? Here’s what you do. Go to your doctor (GP) and tell them that as a kid you were diagnosed with ADD. Tell them that you used to take Adderall and it helped a lot but that as an adult you wanted to be on as little medication as possible and decided to stop taking it.

Things worked out fine because you had a mentally-easy but physically draining job and didn’t have to think or focus too hard. Then tell your Doc that you decided to enroll full time in an online degree program and make a career change and now you work in a technical role with a full time course load and you can’t handle it. You’d like to take a cautious approach to medicating your ADD again and previously had the best results with

Your GP probably wont even ask any questions. Mine didn’t. That story is basically true for me - I walked in recently and told my doc (that I’ve seen for less than a year) the exact same thing and walked out with a prescription…actually she made me go get an echo of my heart first but after years of IVDA and other poor choices I was actually happy to see what was going on in there.

Anyways my script costs me $10 a month and I don’t have to rub shoulders with dark web sex traffickers. Just sayin YMMV
Yes i have insurance. I would not be lying completely If I told my DR. That I do work full time and now currently enrolled on my masters program. Worth a shot, thanks ill let you know if it works or not.
I did that a couple years ago and it worked out just fine. Insurance covers the script. Way better than paying the street price for them.

so from what I can gather without making another thread about Adderall is that it’s really only accessible via Script?

recently went to a psychiatrist telling them I thought I have ADHD. Went in there being completely honest and wanted a proper diagnosis.

Instead I get told I’m depressed lol.

threw away the “therapy” sessions paper she recommended

Is it only available via dark web? how would one locate a source and order from one on the dark web?

My reccomendation is to look for a doctors office in the area that offers suboxone maintenence or sometimes it will be called outpatient detox. Call the office and say that you just relocated from a different area, and wanted to see if tbey can provide medical treatment for adhd. They will know exactly what you mean and if they make you an appointment, you will either walk with a script or they will give you a list of things to bring back so their ass is covered in case their records get audited.

You ever try Modafinil? Armodafinil? I know some people are really sensitive to stimulants (especially amphetamine salts lol) and its easier to come by via interwebs

Thanks for the advice, got a script as a mid-thirties professional with no documented history of adhd. Strategy was to find a psychiatrist in a slightly poorer area of town that regularly serves people with more severe problems than adhd. Also happened to find negative reviews of the doc that he was a pill pusher, ha. Went in and was honest with the big exception of saying I was prescribed it as a teenager and stopped at 18, but was now thinking that I may have never got over it. Worked a charm.

Had another place I almost made an appointment at that said I needed to set aside 3-hours(!) for testing. That’s a big red flag.

Just don’t get hooked… Speaking from experience, withdrawal is a bitch.

Ehh I used it for 3 years straight prior to switching full to modafinil. I’d use easily 90mgs a day, sometimes even 120mg IR. When I ran out or stopped, the withdrawal was me sleeping all day and eating whatever tf I could. No motivation and drowsy af, but beyond that I was normal.
