College sports test if you're good at it, and if you're not being tested then you're not good enough at it. This is to say that if you're good enough already and expecting drugs to take you to the next level/record level, then you're going to need to find someone to help you handle your cycles so you do not get popped. Finding someone willing to help coach your gear usage is gonna be tough unless your coach is openly in favor of doing all you can do to win, so good luck in that regard- Otherwise you're gambling hard. Familiarize yourself with the time it takes for gear to fully clear the body and keep usage moderate because if you incur effects like high blood pressure, thicker blood, too much overall mass gain, organ issues (general), then you're actually just hurting yourself. As far as I know the only drugs worth your while are gonna be Test, Anavar, Tbol. Low dosing of Test, monitor your blood values as mentioned above and keep an eye on estrogen because achy joints will ruin your performance. Var/Tbol are general strength enhancers, nothing special and should be kept low too but if you're evenly matched with someone else and you're taking 25-50mg tbol/var daily then you will have the edge.
I have not done track but for MMA we did a shit ton of explosive work, endurance/cardio related shit, plyometrics, anything to make us able to move our body better, faster, longer, stronger. This is likely the same type of training you will need to employ as well as generally just doing your events. Digest some training resources on youtube or google up some articles, there's plenty to learn and it'll all make you better. I don't wanna tell you that EVERYONE in all areas of track and field comps is natural but I genuinely believe the majority of them are. You're gonna want to just be careful, really watch yourself. If you start getting sluggish in your events despite performance enhancements in your training, drop this shit fast man. Personal opinion: Train this shit naturally until you find out if you're set to be incredible at the sport. If you're not consistently taking 1st place or your times aren't fairly close to the upper end of the pool on your team then drugs most likely are not gonna take you to the podium. Remember, athletics are still at least 95-99% purely about skill, repetition, drive, focus, etc. otherwise the IFBB open men would be dominating every sport.
