AI or no AI

I never ran an AI in the past and I ran high doses of test. Ive been off for well over a decade but just started TRT+ running 400mg test weekly and my Dr. Prescribed me anasterazole 1mg to take once weekly. I have some mild high E2 symptoms I feel, but it could be in my head. I don't want to take the AI unless necessary. I know I should just get bloods and go from there which I'll do soon but if anyone has any anecdotal experience I'd sure appreciate the input. I just don't know if .5-1 mg Anast weekly will have negative sides. I'm only prescribed 200test cyp weekly.

IF you feel you need it, then do .5 mg a week. 1 mg a week is quite abit, specially when it's pharma anasterazole. I've never personally used pharma, but have heard prescribed/pharma adex/anasterazole is quite stronger than research lab and should only be taken when needed.

What is your total T dose? At 500+ I need 1-1.5mg a week. I quarter the pills and take them spaced out during the week... Get bloods

AI should always be as needed IMO.

Your estrogen can be pretty high for quite some time before you get any permanent side effects like gyno.

Unfortunately AI dosage can be incredibly subjective, so there is never really going to be a one size fits all for everyone.

I know people who take asin EOD at 10% bf, and people at 20% who take 6.25mg once a week with no issues.

I honestly have a bit of gyno from my 30s when I blasted and cruised fora few years. I never ran an AI but ran high test. I think I'm just gonna wait a few weeks and get bloods, or take .5 mg and see how it feels. I'm gonna hafta try to split a tiny ass pill.
