CashApp Asking Personal Questions

The cashapp is asking personal questions: copy of your license, how much you make, your business information, what are you using the funds for, etc. Do people use cashApp to send to source? Thanks!

As far as I know, bitcoin is still untraceable. So it shouldn’t matter uploading your license to cash app

BTC is not untraceable, this is a common misconception.
99% of exchanges follow KYC (know your customer) protocol now, which is why they ask for this information.
If you use an exchange to buy BTC with USD, it can be traced back to you..

With that being said, nobody is looking to jump through the hoops to identify some guy who spent a couple hundred bucks buying some steroids.

If you want to be extra safe, send the funds from cashapp (or whatever exchange you use to buy BTC), to another wallet that doesn’t have KYC. A simple google search will introduce you to many options. As long as you aren’t using an exchange feature, most of these wallets will allow you to make crypto transactions without confirming your identity. This will add a layer of anonymity (and plausible deniability) to the transaction.

I get what you're saying, but the fees get ridiculous. I know it's a small price to pay for anonymity, but still sucks

Everything other than an in-person cash transaction is tracked nowadays and if the police really care they can and will use it to build a case on you. Nobody cares about personal use though.

Yeah and if the Feds or Dea want you they’ll get you.

Doesn’t matter if you used something untraceable at that point or If you’re a vendor using tor tails or whatever things they say to make it seem like they’ll never be caught.

All it takes is the Feds or Dea making one order with a vendor then all the tor tails and vpns you want won’t save you at that point.
