Drug Charges incoming?

Been ordering for some time now, 5+ years. Always personal and domestic; nothing crazy. Have some gym buddies I order for occasionally, usually just some test or a packet of anavar when I place an order. In comes new guy last year, call him terry. We’re friendly with terry, said he needed help ordering and wanted to do a test cycle. Seemed like a good dude and we’ve hung out, helped him out and offered to order him some test with my own stuff this summer.

Plot twist: terry gets popped for child porn a month ago. Wtfterry.JPEG. They come take his shit, as they should. Unfortunately on his phone is a group message with some of us where I asked what he wanted to order, told him to give me the 80$ for 3 vials of test etc. I should’ve known better to be careless, but him getting picked up on this shit wasn’t exactly on the radar.

The good;
-All my ordering is thru bitcoin and proton mail.
-Word spread pretty quick about his situation and I’ve cleared my place out. Popo wouldn’t be able to find a thing; cuz it’s gone.
-we know his GF and she assured us when it all happened they came in, went straight for his computer/phone and literally walked past her smoking when they showed up. She also assured me she has pitched (in a different location) all her weed and all the gear he got from me.
-I never once confirmed delivery via text, on my part/his part, or any of the gear. Just that I ordered it and it would be a few weeks.

I guess here’s the question, what’s the cops move? I have to imagine without any actual gear they’ve got jack shit. I guess worst case they could look at my devices but like I said it’s not on there. Even looking at “conspiracy” charges they’d be hard pressed. Thoughts?

I'm not sure what state you are in but you should be fine. I know people that work for the drug task force in my state and they do not care about steroids unless you have 100s of vials and are manufacturering it in your home.

Well sir I can help you with this. First, your knowledge of what a conspiracy is to the feds is way off. Did you agree to sell this man some testosterone? Yes you did therefore you have without any legal doubt committed a conspiracy to distribute anabolic steroids. The lack of physical evidence is moot when it comes to conspiracy charges which is by design. The dea would not be getting near the number of cases if they had to have physical evidence to prosecute. All they need is proof that you agreed to do it. I could tell you many many stories regarding this. Now for the good news. They don’t give a fuck about some guy bumping off a couple vials to their buddies here and there. It’s not worth their time and besides the FBI is the one who typically investigates CP cases, steroids aren’t their area of responsibility. I would tell you to try and not stress over this but I know you’re going to anyways and it’s understandable. I think you’re going to be fine though.

If they got the guy on CP charges that’s probably going to take precedent over anything you’re doing. If they’re going to go after other people here I’d bet they go after whoever else was involved in the CP, not some dude on completely random and unrelated charges. That’s just my bet though.

In the feds, conspiracy to distribute anabolic steroids is a class D felony. 3 10 ml vials would amount to 60 total units of steroids. That would be a level 1 on the guidelines and carry a sentence of 0-6 months. You’re not a distributor my friend. They wouldn’t waste their time and money on something so petty. Quick story. The lead DEA agent on my case was a retired police officer from my town. After he retired he went and worked in the oilfield for a few years and happened to work at the same company out in Odessa that 2 of my really good friends worked at. I was mailing my two friends steroids out in Odessa for quite some time for the exact situation yiu are in. Their coworkers wanted steroids but didn’t know where to buy them so my buddies A and G would purchase them from me for them. The DEA agent said and this is a quote “if you were just mailing some packs out to A and G every once in a while I wouldn’t be at your house this morning but in the 2 months we watched you you sent out over 1500 packages”.

They'd need to put together a case and investigation into you which for $80 bucks in gear that may or may not have ever been supplied to him seems unreasonable. The LEO that busted your buddy on CP charges is probably not the branch of LEO that would handle such a small drug charge which would fall to local PD jurisdiction so they'd need to communicate their evidence to local PD and then those boys would decide if it is worth pursuing. Honestly you are likely fine, because at this point if they took him and found the info and you're still here posting then they clearly have no interest in you.

TL/DR: You would've been arrested already if they cared.

I ended up pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute anabolic steroids and possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime. I was sentenced to 72 months, spent 4.5 years actually incarcerated

If you average out over a 2 month time period it’s like 25 a day it’s really not as much as it sounds. I’m sure other folks are doing double that. I only ever advertised on here so I only got sst customers. Think how much business the sources who advertise on multiple forums must be getting. But I did a good majority of the work myself. It took me around 2 hours every evening to package up the orders from the day. I did have 1 person help with capsules and filling vials in exchange for $3000 a week in bitcoin

Don’t even get me started on that lol. All I’ll say is that that charge was way outside the spirit of the law. But I’m not the first guy to get a raw deal and it’s over now for the most part. I’m still dealing with the justice department but I’m not in prison anymore. Just working on getting my life back in order right now.

I’m in indiana. It was either the FBI or the “crimes against children unit” of our state police.

Either way it would have to be passed onto our local PD. I live in a big city that has quite an overburdened Local court system. Our prosecutor is known for not prosecuting quite a bit. Maybe I’m trying just convince myself…
