Fertility: clomid , hcg, and trt

I got two kids already but have been blasting and cruising since my second was born. So been on gear for about two years. Well the now wife wants a kiddo. Doc said I got no sperm after having a semen analysis done. He said get off the test (200mg per week currently) and he prescribed me 50mg clomid for 21 days then said to go back for blood test, and if there is no fsh or lh present he wants to up the clomid to 100mg per day.

I just ordered some hcg to add in. He said he wasn’t going to prescribe hcg cause there is a supply/demand issue right now making it very costly. Said once I’m making sperm I can give it to em and they can freeze it for ivf, then go back on test.

Could I drop the test down to 100mg and add in 500mcg of hcg 3x per week on top of the clomid. Or just do clomid and hcg? Everything I have read , monotherepy with clomid is miserable, and the doc even said it was going to suck for abit.

I hope my swimmers are dead. I'd like to have a sperm analyze , so my partner doesn't have to take BC. to lazy to make the trips.

Side not: even if your fsh/lh is high on the labs, doesn't mean you have healthy or any swimmers. Some baby making protocols keep you on trt, plus clomid ,Nolvadex, and that other injectable that's super expensive can't remember the name of it. Which replaces hcg.

HMG, and it should be ran alongside HCG. HMG stimulates FSH, HCG stimulates LH.

Clomid stims lh and fsh. I think hmg is enough not paird with hcg. I have bloods on clomid and I was pregnant.

True, and I shouldn't have necessarily stated it as HMG and HCG should be ran together, but rather that they obviously can and that HMG doesn't have to replace HCG entirely. But inherently nothing I said was factually incorrect. Yes HMG can be ran by itself without HCG to promote fertility. Yes clomid can be utilized to promote fertility as well. Palumbos fertility protocol uses all 3 of those compounds.

it’s going to depend on the person. i was cruising at 200mg/week, 3000 hcg/week for a few months, plus hmg and clomid for 2 months before my sperm analysis. my sperm analysis came back with 0 sperm. so i’d tell you stay off but ymwv

I'm 5 years deep and my nuts still have life in them. I'd say this is situational- Your body didn't respond the same as mine, the same as someone elses, the same as Xe/Xer/They/Them's, and because we have no way to perform tests for you I really just advise following doc's orders. Don't sacrifice the happiness of you and your wife/family overall for muscle and strength dude. None of this shit matters when you die but bringing another life into this world matters beyond your passing. Humble up, drop to whatever the doc said and put a damn baby in your woman. This is serious life stuff, really not something you should be leaving up to forum posters to advise you on anyway.

Well no shit it’s serious stuff, and there’s multiple ways to achieve something. IE coming off test and running fertility drugs or dropping trt dosage and running fertility drugs. Just seeing what’s worked for others.

HCG is more of a substitute for LH. HCG doens't stimulate LH or FSH. FSH, LH, and HCG are all very similar and the receptors on the Leydig cells in the testes fit all 3.
