Just found out I have an opportunity for a photo shoot in 4 weeks. I don't compete so I've never done a serious cut, but I'm proud of my hard earned muscular development and don't want to loose it. I'm traveling internationally so doing this cut off cycle. Just finished a cycle of 10 mg anavar and 3 ius gh. Seeking advice for a 4 week, natural, muscle preserving cut, if this is even possible. I'm 5'4, 110 lb. Female around 20% bf ( rough estimate). Thx

You won’t be able to preserve any muscle since you’ll have to aggressively pull down your calories and do lots of cardio to lose the fat ..

Sounds like a bad idea

2 weeks of DNP starting right now would be perfect. All the water drops off you between 5-7 days after stopping DNP so the timing would be right. Plus it’s crazy effective and has a major positive affect on insulin resistance.

Hey @Colette what's the goal if you don't mind me asking? Do you know your TDEE?

You are going to do this off cycle because you are traveling or because you just finished your car cycle? I feel like var tabs would get through customs pretty easily but someone else might be able to speak to that better than myself. If you have your diet right, especially protein content, then preservation shouldn't be all too difficult. Congrats on the photo shoot that's big stuff right there!

DNP is a really bad idea especially off cycle if muscle preservation is something you’re worried about. It will make you feel like death and seriously hinder your performance in the gym. Unfortunately 4 weeks is not a lot of time but if you’re looking to get the best results possible you’re gonna want to hit the weights pretty hard and keep the cardio moderate to keep fatigue low since you’re gonna need to be in a pretty steep caloric deficit (700-1000 calories). The main thing you’re trying to do is keep your strength loss to a minimum as thats whats gonna correlate to muscle loss the most. Keep your protein high (1g-1.25g per pound of body weight) and carbs high. You’re gonna be cutting mostly fats which will make you feel like shit but thats the price you’re gonna have to pay for a quick cut like this. Keep meal frequency at 4-5 meals a day. The last week is probably gonna be the most critical to how you look for your photoshoot because you’re gonna want to drop as much water weight as possible and then carb up the last 2 days leading up to your shoot. I’ve never had to do a contest prep and dry out so I cant really go into more detail on how to do that but im sure you can find resources online that go into more detail on this. Good luck!

Jesus Christ....just diet normally stay active and get a fucking spray tan. They edit the hell out of anything they end up using anyways. If they already picked you for the shoot they already think you're gtg.

This is literally the best advice here, last thing you want to do is ruin everything with a drastic change. If anything just bump up cardio, lower carbs, and make sure you lift heavy as possible. Shit isn't rocket science people.

Goal is just to cut a bit. I have little fat to loose. Diet is on target year round. The shoot is for a promo for a gym advertising to various age groups. I'm 62. Yes, finished var cycle but also hesitant to fly with anything, ever. US to Spain, then Austria, then US.
