He's stupid. I'm not trolling. Nick Walker is genuinely retarded. I've known him years back when he was slamming gear from Extreme Fitness in Laurel Springs, NJ. Yes he's consistent with the diet and training, but is an absolute mouth-breather of a person. He's not intentionally arrogant, but I'm glad he's never going to win an O title because of the newer guys.
Not sure if you’re still close with him but I heard his girl cheated on him and that’s why they broke up. You know if that’s true ?

Honestly I think Mena Open needs to be shut down for the next two years and they need to put the prize money on the 212 and the classic... Then bleed the current pool into the other classes like wellness and some of the other womens events. These guys have been growing and mutating out of control. Unreal. Just my two cents though.

I said bleed the current money pool of classic and 212 into those divisions, then suspend men's open and split that prize money for 212 and Classic.

Any amount of the mens winnings going to womens division is dumb. Instead why not treat the womens division as a separate event, that way the PPV's and the tickets bought can go all to the competitors at the Ms. Olympia and the PPV's and tickets bought for the mens division can go to the men. If you want to get rid of open and split the money into the 212 and classic go for it but at least make it you eat what you kill so women aren't getting money that was supposed to go to male competitors.

Not gonna happen but they need to at least figure something out with classic. Pretty much every young guy think cbum is regular Mr. O as well and has no idea who Hadi/Derek is. Pro shows giving out $2000 to 3rd place, $5000 to 1st in classic is hilarious — they’re spending about same on costs for hotel, traveling, drugs, and food prepping for it. Classic has also already shown to have most mainstream appeal.

The young guys who think Chris is Mr O also don't watch the Arnold Classic, pro shows, or even the O for that matter so it isn't as if the IFBB is hemorrhaging money in that regards. You are talking about these new gym fags who only at most started lifting in 2021 and have no intention of actually following bodybuilding but rather following Chris and claiming they are a fan of bodybuilding while only being able to name Coleman, Bumstead, Levrone, Platz, Mentzer, and maybe Ramy. As far as the most mainstream appeal it is more that Chris has the most mainstream appeal, not classic, if anything mens physique has more appeal than classic as the bodies there are on the cusp of being considered too much whereas with classic and open the general population will say too much.

It’s all connected. Like it or not those young recreational lifters are the ones buying up all the supplements being pushed out there by guys like Bumstead marketing. Disagree with men’s physique, again, everyone knows who Cbum is.. even many non lifters and hardly anyone on the street would recognize Ryan Terry if you showed them a pic. The general population actually thinks Chris is still natural just like folks believing The Rock is.

Point of the matter is IFBB is collecting much more $ from their sponsors and the kids buying those supps pushed by the classic guys than from ticket sales. Remember when Big Ramy was champ and sponsored with Enhanced Athlete? They hardly got any sales off him. Chris, Urs, Wesley, Ramon, most of all of the classic guys have the most marketing appeal and personalities which makes sponsors $ and the IFBB $$$.

The point I was making is mens physique as a category is more appealing than classic, not than Bumstead. Chris is bigger than classic and mens physique, if the IFBB was looking to make bodybuilding mainstream it's through mens physique not classic, also the supplements being pushed by guys like Bumstead don't make the IFBB money, the cost of watching pro shows is insane as it is, there is no way in hell they could justify raising the prices beyond what they already are. New generation lifters ability to discern between classic, open, and mens physique champs won't help the IFBB in any way as well given that the attention span of these people are that of a goldfish combined with the fact they have no real intention of being interested in bodybuilding but rather just go to the gym, know who Chris is, and claim they like bodybuilding despite not watching pro shows or even the O.

Would like nothing more but to see him come back for 24 and beat Hadi. Idk if Derek can pull it off again, especially if Samson gets it together.
