Preferred needle size?

Da fuq is cutting the cap? If it’s what I think it is and you’re like chopping the needle to be shorter, why not just use a 5/8"?

I have a hard time mentally putting a 1" needle in me, and I’ve got a bunch of 27g 1" that need used. It’s a mental thing really. Sterility is still top priority and everything is sterilized accordingly.
