Just spoke with customer service.
We were prepared to give you full store credit refund on May 5th. These normally are issued automatically after a certain date, but for some reason, it never was. You also never reached out to us so our guys didn’t know.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and have issued $85 to your account. That’s around 21% extra.

I’ve lost money here and received no product. Store credit is worthless- it is not real cash, and it comes with conditions. At the end of the day I have lost hard cash and been given pointless credits im return (which does not translate as real money). @“superawesomename” am I not correct in thinking I am entitled to a real refund, for a product I haven’t received?

Oh, I’ll also copy/paste this from our FAQ:

"I want a refund / reship

If your package was lost ( has not been delivered after 60 days from a despatch date) or seized you are eligible to ask for a reship or refund. Please contact our customer service with all details (seizure letter, tracking number, order number) and our team will promptly take care of your situation.
Please note for safety reasons we do not provide cash refunds, the refund can be made only in store credit to your prepaid wallet."

Just spoke with higher management and unfortunately, we cannot do cash refund.

Your order was $70, we reimbursed $85 to your account, which is amount you spent plus 21%.

It’s clearly stated in our FAQs that we don’t do cash refund. We re-ship or give store credit plus extras no questions asked.

Cash refund is not standard procedure among sources. Please understand that we’re out of those products as well and already at a loss.

The credit you currently have in your account is enough for you to buy the very same products you previously bought, plus some. Don’t really understand how that’s a loss for you or how store credit is worthless, since it will get you the very same products you wanted and have already paid for.

We deeply apologize about the delay. Once a package leaves our hands, we can’t really control what happens to it.

Since 2008, we always had a no questions asked re-ship/refund policy for packages that didn’t arrive in 30 days. We’re currently working with 60 days because of the pandemic.

But you do need to contact us so we can arrange a re-ship or refund (normally your choice) and you never reached out to us, coming straight to the forum.

We’ve been dealing with these things on a daily basis since 2008 on over 30 forums and our policies are considered very permissive according to most customers, forum admins and mods.

I believe you’ve been treated fairly by us and you saying that you lost money with us is very far from true.

Well to be completely honest, I’m not sure how to get through to you. Since you’re not reading my posts when I tag you, or the two times I linked it to you, I guess I’ll copy it here. In short, the sources remediation is absolutely acceptable and in line with their stated policy and linked forum post.

Let’s also make another thing clear, the only place I’ve personally seen in text written explicitly “REFUND” is the following, where the rep says to contact them and it may be discussed. Further, they went on to clarify after some initial confusion on the store credit. The sources website clearly states their reship and store credit policy, you had access to this information prior to ordering.

Morning guys.

I’ll say it again:

If your order has not been delivered in 60 days (normally it’s 30 days), we will re-ship the entire order or give you a store credit refund so you can re-order yourself, choosing a different address if you want. That’s our policy, always been. Also, what vast majority of sources do, with the exception that we don’t even ask for seizure letters or anything after mentioned amount of time, which quite often leads to customers receiving double orders while paying for one.

Anyways… Let’s say there’s the rarest case of a package being seized or lost 2 or 3 times in a row. It’s possible to put customer directly in contact with management for a cash refund. I’ve seen it happen in the past, but never for 70 dollars order with first re-ship/refund.

We work out of 13 warehouses around the world, most of them are international for a customer that’s ordering from us. Packages go thru normal transits, like courier, customs, local office, etc… Average 2% of those packages are lost, seized, destroyed or whatever. We cannot control these things. But your package will be re-shipped if any of those things happen. Or you’ll be able to order the very same products (usually with a bonus) from us.

I understand the inconvenience of waiting again, as part of my salary with the company is delivered as bodybuilding goods. We all hate waiting.

But it is what it is…
