Does anyone not yet realize that transactions done via bitcoin are totally traceable and should not even be considered privacy coins? Sure, many customers have not yet adopted to the last remaining truly private crypto xmr aka Monero so vendors want to accommodate these stragglers much as they allow those who don't use pgp to still order. It seems like the steroid scene is a sort of blissfully ignorant crowd not caring that they are vending schedule three drugs but what really gets my goat is vendors who are bitcoin only, don't even accept xmr for those who wish to use it as a payment method.
When I become a vendor, which will be never, every customer will be forced to pgp encrypt all personal info and pay via xmr only. Until steroids can be sold on ebay opsec matters.
When I see that a vendor accepts bitcoin only I immediately shop elsewhere. It is up to the vendors to raise the bar on safety for both them and their customers.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk, newbs
