Both good. For me a much less compulsive and addictive alternative to Adderal or Ritalin. Can’t snort it either, always a plus. MUCH longer window of action than Adderal for me. Armodafinil longer than Modafinil. You ever try Modafinil? Armodafinil? I know some people are really sensitive to stimulants (especially amphetamine salts lol) and its easier to come by via interwebs
Not really, that sounds like about the min to get a proper diagnosis. They are going to need to rule in and rule out lots of stuff. The last thing you want is to get misdiagnosed and put on meds you shouldn’t be put on.Thanks for the advice, got a script as a mid-thirties professional with no documented history of adhd. Strategy was to find a psychiatrist in a slightly poorer area of town that regularly serves people with more severe problems than adhd. Also happened to find negative reviews of the doc that he was a pill pusher, ha. Went in and was honest with the big exception of saying I was prescribed it as a teenager and stopped at 18, but was now thinking that I may have never got over it. Worked a charm.
Had another place I almost made an appointment at that said I needed to set aside 3-hours(!) for testing. That’s a big red flag.
SSRIs fuck with a lot of things and have bad drug interactions. I’d get a second opinion man. Nothing wrong with going to a different doc if you weren’t happy with your last one. Only you know how you feel and what is going on inside your head <3.A close friend of mine mentioned she thinks I may have inattentive adhd and I was pretty convinced when she explained the symptoms she noticed. Went to get checked out and I got put on a anti depressant for anti anxiety uses. Really don’t wanna take a SSRI because of the potential sex drive problems while I’m in a new relationship. I had mentioned adderall to the doc and while he said he does see signs of adhd he believes the brain fog I’ve been experiencing is anxiety based. Which still lines up with adhd from what I’ve been reading. Now I’m on a hunt for adderall but the prices on certain markets seem outrageous. Current doc wants me on the SSRI for a month before seeing me again. Should I jump through this docs hoops or seek a second opinion? I’ve heard you get labelled as a druggy if you go around trying to get adderall so I’m trying to be cautious.
Tried googling Amp. Phosphate and all I’m getting are results for adenosine which seems to be a sugar? Whats the full name of what you are buying?I have both ADHD & sleep apnea.
I usually acquire 5g of Amp. Phosphate from USAmp on Dream Market – it actually works better for me than Adderall, and the 5g lasts me about 3 monthsish with much less hassle than going to a psych (where I did actually go, they put me on Wellbutrin, then a bunch of mood stabilizers and shit which really just fucked me up and didn’t help, until I finally got an Adderall script – which worked great.)
Back to the sleep apnea: get tested for this, because if you have it, there’s a lot of symptoms which directly overlap with / exacerbate ADHD (ESPECIALLY inattentive ADHD). Brain fog, anxiety, sluggishness, excessive drowsiness, inability to concentrate and so on.
Since I’ve started treating both, going on like 4 years now, I feel like I completely different person.
Thanks for the reply I will try for a second opinion!Belle" pid='31224' dateline='1542672632:

I’ll look into this. As long as the Amp. phosphate is cheaper then I think it worth trying. Especially with the state of BTC atm.I have both ADHD & sleep apnea.

If you can’t walk into your GP’s office and get a script, your an idiot. It took me 5 minutes, I acted distracted, started fidgeting with a pen, told her I took some type of medication that required 2-3 doses per day back in high school, got the script. I’d you want it, you can get it. For now, both of you need to fuck off with this shit. If you read back earlier in the thread, mods allowed it to stay up because there were no dumbasses lik you two doing this type of stuff. Fix itBelle" pid='31302' dateline='1542770135:

The source talk was me being absent minded, fully agree with you. I’m not trying to fake a script I’m trying to get a actual diagnosis if I do have a problem. The doc told me he was not a pill pusher when I mentioned adhd yet had no problems jumping straight to ssris. I’m going to seek a second opinion now but I wasn’t sure if I should. I’ve been told getting a actual diagnosis as a adult is hard, I can see why when their first thought is anti depressants when you mentions tiny bit of anxiety.
My friends opinion really got me thinking about my history of failures throughout my schooling life. Of course I was labelled lazy or someone who just spaced out often. For me it just sort of makes sense that I may have had some form of problem. Hell I was supposed to be held back in elementary a few times. Is it ADHD? Fuck if I know. Overthinking things? probably.Belle" pid='31392' dateline='1542854460:

- Any problems you share with a psychiatrist (the type of professional you will go to), will just lead to them giving a prescription for some type of SSRI/SNRI/SNDRI, look what already happened; you mentioned anxiety and now you have a mental disorder and must be medicated.
- Seems as though most of your reasoning/concern with this is based off your one friends opinion. I think you know what I’m gettin at here.
- All mental illnesses (which btw is just a disgusting term used to generalize the huge list of fabricated issues (not all, few are legitimate) that psychiatrists come up with), are diagnosed with an evaluation based off the DSM. You can just do this yourself if you want a “proper” diagnosis- https://add.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/adhd-questionnaire-ASRS111.pdf
If anyone does not agree with my views then so be it, I firmly believe psychiatrics here in America is a huge part of the reason why we are all so fucking stupid and have so many issues… My gf’s stepdad is a psychiatrist and I get into it with him for fucking hours everytime I see him. I can’t stand it.
- If you go in and get a diagnosis, your most likely going to “have” ADD/ADHD, (because fuck everyone has every disorder…) and if they think it’s just mild you will get a script for strattera (SNRI), if not you’ll get a script for low dose adderal.
There’s a ADD/ADHD “test” you can take to see if you have it. I scored 68, which apparently means I should actually go speak with my doc.Masterofron" pid='31408' dateline='1542865385:

Mention as a kid because those medical records are more than likely non-existent in today’s computerized medical records?

You are most likely a functioning adult with a job and with other daily obligations that you are able to get done. If you are not, your are younger and maybe in school, or just working, etc. Either way, you’ve made it through life this far just fine… you don’t have fckin ADD/ADHD… As a matter of fact 9/10 people who are on ADD meds (myself, I manipulated doc for adderal cause I like it lulz) do NOT have adhd/ADD.
In the beginning half of this video Robert Whitaker details the evolution of add/adhd as a “medical illness”-
Hey bro, I gained 30 pounds on TribulusComparing adderall to coffee is like comparing tribulus to 1 gram of injectable testosterone. Not even in the same game. Adderall is the reason I have two degrees.
