I can confirm that @“EnergyControl” provided me these graphs here: which are the black copies that Jano speaks of. If you look in the article here: http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0056168 you will see that the graphs are stolen right out of there. These guys falsified results that I paid money for. I take that shit seriously and you all should too. Do not send these guys your money. In all honesty, I don’t care if you refund me EC, paying $75 to help expose a scamming peice of shit with no morals like yourself is money well spent in my opinion.

Thank you Jano.
I’m not sure it’s a scam, I really can’t get past the fact I’ve sent multiple blind tests to them and they’ve reported back accurate results. I’m definitely confused, but that’s one thing I can’t get past. Either way it comes off unprofessional which is disappointing.
I think they are able to test substances but with my case in particular EC has already admitted to falsifying the data. Did you look at the links I posted? They are exact copies with minor photoshopping. Trust me man, I don’t turn on people quickly but this is solid evidence, especially them legit saying they do not deny falsifying the data. I stood up for these guys in the beginning and hoped they would do well here. But faking results should not be acceptable from anyone.
Yeah that’s why I’m not sure what to think, I wish they’d just post more and explain to be honest. Even if it’s just this instance, it’s weird and makes me feel meh unfortunately. Like I’m definitely happy with the results I’ve gotten and I’d have a hard time telling myself those are faked, but even if they aren’t you have this.

Just curious- does Jano provide raw data? I don’t see any on his test results on his site.

There is no way to explain this one though. They falsified the test data and they admitted to it. So I basically paid them $75 to photoshop some HPLC graphs and pull a number out of their ass?

I’ve never received raw data as part of my results from Jano

So the consensus is that they are testing the product and getting an accurate result, but they lied about (provided fake) raw data when asked for it by a customer? Is there any possibility they are just trying to hide a different methodology that is still accurate (and possibly more affordable)? Or that they are getting it tested (for a lesser price) through another company/person (possibly local?) - which could explain the extended wait times and lack of raw data to provide?

Not at all saying that’s what it is, I know nothing about this testing shit… but obviously it doesn’t make sense and we all know that. If they’re getting accurate results they are doing something right in regards to the actual testing, but why falsify the raw data is the question to be answered if that is the case?

I’ll let Jano speak on theories as I don’t know much about this testing stuff either. But I’ll add the facts that I do know:
  1. I paid for expedited results which guarantees results within 2-3 business days. I received within 3 business days. I think that makes it not very likely that someone else is doing the work unless it’s someone they know locally.
  2. I paid $70 plus $5 more for it to be expedited. This is cheap. I can’t imagine it being done for much less using the methods they claim. But again, I’m not that familiar with the testing process and equipment so maybe jano or someone knowledgeable can soeak on this.

I hope a rational reason is provided for all of this. I don’t think that EC is going to be returning to comment directly about this. If they come clean they are probably going to get canned. If they stay silent they can hope it blows over. It won’t, but they can hope.

Is the raw data fake or not? Can’t people use some program to detect photoshopping?

Will provide on request within minutes. Unlike EC.

Yes Sir.

This is what they emailed me (and to @“Arms_Length” as raw data) (in case they delete it )

I didn’t really believe that, so I scrutinized them in my email -
So I googled a tiny bit and the images are downloaded from here - http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0056168

They even inverted the colors so the original image is harder to reverse image search.

Hope I helped.

For the record, I know this is true, as you’ve said it emails before. I answered the question asked, which seemed a bit more innocuous at the time.

But yes, you have absolutely said that I could request raw data on various tests you’ve done for me.

@Janoshik, THANK YOU! I called this a couple weeks ago.

If a testing company can’t be 100% trusted, they have no place here.

Verification from whom, you? Were they not already given a forum and given the go-ahead by mods?

If they’re testing compounds accurately I really don’t care about this witch hunt, is my point. It was dumb of them to try and get you to vouch for them when you’ve had a hard-on for them the entire time.
The entire mistake was trying to get Jano to verify they were clear, when he has every financial reason to exaggerate any small difference, in order to eliminate a competitor.

If you look at the end of that Energy Control thread it basically boils down to Jano saying “the 240 spec is not really as precise as I think it should be for anavar”. And for that, EC gets banned.

EC repeatedly said to send the sample to other places, and they’d get the same results. But we’re told “Jano has a graph! The results don’t matter. - the graph!”

This is a case study in gas lighting.

You somehow miss the part when they faked data to me and their customer and got caught stealing data from a public study.

“Small difference” indeed. If you cry here enough they might give you a discount for their images downloaded off the internet 🙂

So they actually test blind products, and fake a graph. For this they are banned. You Jano, fake results from things you never even received, and are not banned. I’m not sure how that works.

And I’m sure you’ll be angling to get Analyzer banned next. You’re predictable. We’ll see how successful you are at a 2nd round of gas lighting.

I didn’t notice him around. Did you?

You must be really bored to make stuff up like this.

I can’t be sure they’re testing compounds accurately. One of the two samples I sent EC was t3. When the test came back as 0.84mg of anastrozole, I told them how disappointed I was since it was supposed to be t3.

They replied that it may actually be, since they test most things in a certain wavelength (240?) and t3 would be better tested at the 290 wavelength. They said that would change the shape of the peak (or something like that), so they’re retesting it to see if it indeed t3.

They also took 9 days to get to me when I paid for expedited service of 1-3 days.

I think EC has the ability to test things. But I think they’re more than likely early 20’s kids that aren’t very good with customer service, and overpromised. They are willing to guess the substance beceause, as Alice (EC) said, they’ll be right 90+% of the time. But that still leaves 10% or so incorrect. And, again, they got in over their heads with t/a promises.

I don’t think they should be banned forever here. But they did need to be off the board for a while to correct their business practices. If, in a few months, they’ve continued to satisfy customers that are still using them from this board, then let them be reinstated

I can deal with mistakes and slightlyish inaccurate results. But fraud… He should be banned

I really wouldn’t have a problem with this. All of the points you mentioned are valid.
