The CrossFit Games are drug tested and there's a good amount of money in the whole thing. I don't have to think it has any value as a training method to recognize that it fits pretty much every definition of a sport. Maybe someday they'll even learn why triathalons involve the swimming portion first.Wait, CrossFit is a sport?what?
“dozens suspended every year in MLB”
It was two guys last year.

How many guys play baseball in the MLB? Two out of several hundred isn’t statistically indicative of widespread PED use.
These guys are just BETTER than the rest of us. That’s fine.
Good for you.religious beliefs, and I also just found out that I’m a medical anomaly, my cholesterol levels never budged even after basically a two year blast, I have blood work to show for it. Even in the last 8 months my crp went down to nothing after adding lots of nandrolone to my high test base.
I just like looking great. Im 50 and my natural test is in the shitter. I dont stand on stage but I compete with myself every day against father time and mother nature. My bloodwork and health markers are better now than when I was natural. I have zero intentions of quitting. I train clients who are in the same boat as me and while you can make really good progress naturally, it's still an individual decision to keep or go beyond what you can do naturally. I prefer the latter. Its not a magic pill tho, diet, training, recovery all still have to be priorities. The additional anabolics kicks everything up a notch. This isn't as hostile a question as it may seem but I am genuinely curious. I got on before I began competing in powerlifting because I was looking for a way to fix my body after some big injuries that the doctors kept just trying to give me pain pills for, and I managed to build up my body on gear with aggressive rehab work better than pre-gear so I could function like a normal person again and then moved into competitive PL'ing since I ended up being pretty good at SBD. Naturally I upped doses and added more compounds when I made the switch.
But if I didn't have those injuries and wasn't competing I can't imagine a reason to really be on this shit. I doubt every poster here is getting on a stage or on the field in a sport at some level that requires drugs so what's the thought process behind being on for those of you who are just doing it for non-comp reasons?
Was pretty big lifter from teen late 20s got in a bad car accident had me out of the gym for a while. Some of the story got off all the meds was looking back through bloodwork over the years and found my levels were pretty low range. So I decided to try and get more lab work done local and had a odd experience when trying to get the results for my testosterone levels I kept getting told my levels were in range but they wouldn’t let me get a copy of my labs or tell me anything about it just that I was fine. After few months of back and fourth finally got the results and I think tt was like 110 got put on androgel labs came back after couple months on it same range or lower got put on test c 100mg every 14days labs came back tt was actually lower than starting range. So I looked around found telemedicine place was doing great on trt but due to cost decided to go ugl. Since going ugl I had tried a few additions mentally and physically a game changer for me.This isn't as hostile a question as it may seem but I am genuinely curious. apologies cause I feel like i’m being annoying bragging about the cholesterol thing lol, I was so surprised. How about you? is your healthy pretty good for what you do? Good for you.Good for you.![]()
Never did a cycle, but on TRT for close to 8 months now.I started TRT at 45, it was a game changer overall in life. Since then, I've run a couple 16 week blasts of test/deca. The last dexa scan I did indicate 13.43 lbs of lean mass gain in just months (Ii can't remember exactly how long), the shit is effective.
I'm ok with staying on TRT, but I know my window of cycles is possibly closing. I won't continue if bloodwork doesn't come back good.
Honestly, being on gear is a huge health motivator for me. My diet is better, I workout hard, and I do FREQUENT bloodwork.
Plus holy shit, the attention from women I get is pretty cool. I had no idea my late 40s could be like this.
Yeah all the abuse as a kid here from step dadTo be completely honest with you, I had a rough upbringing, including my home life. Physically and psychologically abusive step dad, inner city schools and I was a reserved kid.
I fell in love with lifting weights at around 16 and made quick progress, I witnessed how people treated others who were in great shape. Being physically imposing is its own form of power.
There is an instinctual fear of a man that looks like he can fuck you up, and I always wanted to remain a physical threat to anyone who has bad intentions.
Now I sit at a lean 260 pounds at 5’11 and I feel very comfortable walking around in public without anyone bothering me anymore.
