Wife blackmailing me with my empty vials and needles

Long story short we got into another huge fight and told her I’m just ready to call it quits.

As soon as I got out the door to get something from my car she slammed the door and changed the digital code lock to the door.

When I said I’d get a cop to help get my personal belongings she said she was gonna have me arrested for the needles and empty vials she kept for some reason.

What are my options here? All I want are my sentimental childhood things, laptop and personal documents/papers.

Well, I don’t want to be with someone who is supposed to be my teammate, but is willing to attempt to destroy my life or make a case about anything for the sake of her own ego.

She is a stage 6 control freak and is probably the most petty and vindictive person I’ve ever met.

We’ve never even had a honeymoon phase. Because it’s always been threatening to leave me whenever she was upset with me or suspected anything.

Look at ur state law if you live in a hippie state they may not even fall under drug paraphernalia.. which means they aren’t illegal to posses.. as far as the vial.. that depends on what’s left. Honestly in my experience the cops will just want to diffuse the situation. If she comes out with empty vials and syringes it doesn't look great, but it's also just empty vials and syringes.... I would take a walk around the block, take a breather, and comeback chilled out. Now when you get home say the right things, play it cool, makeup fuck even, and tonight you toss all those vials and stash the rest. Enjoy the holiday tomorrow, go to church all that bs. Then either tomorrow night or Monday pack your shit and get outta there since obviously she's going to think blackmail is on the table as a weapon and the trust is gone. Hopefully after yall hatefuck and makeup that'll fix the psycho stuff but again just play it cool.

She found my stash and Emptied them the vials with a syringe and flushes pills in toilet. I’m sure there are remnants in the vials still.

I’ve been living in hotels for two weeks because of her. It Just doesn’t make sense why you’d want to be with someone when you hold stuff over them to keep them in your life. All I want are a few of my things and I’ll be gone.

Yikes. That's exactly what it was for, my ex wife tried that shit and actually had a picture of me with a loaded syringe etc. I totally said 'fuck you I don't give a shit' and as much as she tried the cops didn't do shit because they never caught me with them in my possession and didn't even want to include it in the reports because the headache it would take to prove guilt in court and all that.

She sounds like she has some problems man and it all depends on how much your willing to put up with. If it's not this time she will do it no matter what when you eventually leave so if it's inevitable. The cops always want to find the shit on your person, if not it's a pain for them. They will most likely let you get your things and leave just to end the call.

I’d say you don’t have shit to worry about it’s all bullshit threats. If she knows about something that’s “illegal” in her house and seeing as your both married an both your house… she’s equally “at fault and in possession” if that makes sense.

I have an apartment now. I just know this will get real ugly. She’s one of those hot “I’m a strong woman” with control issues and has a fragile ego who has never been dropped before.

Her mom lives with us and screamed at her own mother to go in the basement when she was expressing concerns on getting my necessities.

I asked for my wallet at least. She left it on the porch and she took all the money out of it. I moved states away from home to be with her so my network here is very limited.

Devils advocate right here lol. I've also been in similar situations when I was a younger man and I definitely learned from them. OP coming on here to vent and share isn't a big deal to me though, I just hope things calm down in his life either way, all that drama is no good and typically it never gets better once it gets this bad no matter who did what to cause it.
