ohhh man that style fairlife milk is like drinking half&half, I buy that once in awhile and feel so damn guilty drinking it (high fats) and swear it off for a few months, lol , but this is the only milk i will drink now, regular milk is so weird and gross,,
Yeah usually I just go for the 2% but I need some extra calories right now, especially after leg day today (and since the chicken is lean and the rice pudding is low fat) I subbed in some whole milk to bump the calories up a bit.

it is hard to go back to regular milk though. The macros of fairlife are just too good

That random protein drink you are trying is fucking god damn delicious. Wish I could get them in bulk but they only have them at dollar generals and gas stations where I’m at.

Sunday meal prep day:

Lunches this week are 3 mini beef sliders (95% lean), some "baked then smashed" sweet potatoes, mixed veggies, and a mini naan to go with it.
Post-workout is more pan seared saffron chicken breast, white rice (not pictured), spinach (not pictured), and oats in fairlife milk (not pictured)

Damn thats two meals for me, lol ,
Probably will be for me as well. Just trying to smash as much (clean) food as possible lately, especially post workout

Been getting PRs like every lift and seemingly gaining a good bit of muscle as well. Feels good

Saw that protein drink in a store by me the other day and gave it a try since I saw it on @Sector ‘s post. Way better than I expected!

The strawberry is by far the best one. Vanilla is good but not as good. And I just don’t like chocolate protein, no matter what it is. I usually just use powder, but in a cut those shamrock ones and premier protein ones come in handy. Get all my protein with minimal calories.

Any tips for meals when traveling? Got an 8 hour flight coming up soon and usually when I fly I’ll buy protein drinks like muscle milk to hold me over but they bloat me to the max for a couple days and I hate having a stomach that extends as far as my chest

I do jerky and meal bars (not just protein-only bars, but the ones that have enough other macros too) for a balance of nutrients. Lately I bought a ton of RxBars on sale so have been smashing a couple of those and some jerky when in a pinch without access to a proper meal

Started mixing this in with my intra workout drink

1.5 scoops so 30g protein. I wouldn’t recommend this unless you mix it with a lot of water and flavored BCAAS/EAAs and it doesn’t mix well or taste the best, but when mixed with 1/2 gallon of water and flavored BCAAS and EAAs it’s actually decent, plus easy protein during the workout

So my current intra workout drink is:
15g flavored bcaas
16g flavored eaas
20g glutamine
30g protein from this isolate drink

I do a high carb meal of rice pudding and a fairlife protein shake before my workout to spike insulin then drink the above during my workout to shuttle it to the muscle

I just rewarded myself with a little caesars stuffed pretzel crust pizza after deadlifts and I'm gonna be full as fuck for benching tomorrow ☺️

post-workout meals are ground turkey taco meat (big container in the back) with rice & tortillas.
lunches are slow cooked shredded chicken breast in broth with black lentils and quinoa (ran out of quinoa half way through so other half is just white rice)

Post workout meal today:

Not pictured:
- shake at the gym with 1 scoop whey and 5g creatine
- 2 medjool dates when I got home to kick start sugar/carbs while I get the rest of the stuff out & warmed up

Pictured:
1 cup rice pudding with cinnamon added
1/2lb ground turkey taco meat with hot sauce
4 tortillas
